Our story has a very simple beginning - we love good food. We are passionate about the farm-to-table movement and strive to support local farms and businesses who work so hard to provide our community with fresh food. This passion sparked the question- "How can we help get all this fresh, local, great tasting food onto not only our own plate, but to other peoples' plates?"....and thus was born the idea of Indie Plate! Indie Plate is our way sharing what we love with you.
How does it all work?
Our fresh marketplace is carefully updated every week to provide you with the best selection of fresh food from local farms and food craftsmen. We personally taste-test each product for freshness and taste. Each product page is full of nutritional, storage, and cooking information for your convenience. All you need to do is order fresh groceries online from our digital grocery store - we confirm your order with our local producers who hand-pick and personally prepare each item, and we deliver the food straight to your doorstep. It's that easy!
What is your delivery service area?
Our current service area includes all of Baton Rouge metro (70801 - 70820), Prairieville, Gonzales, Denham Springs, Central, Zachary, Port Allen, Addis, and Brusly but we are looking to grow our service area constantly - so keep checking because your area may be next! We deliver to both homes and workplaces. WE ONLY DELIVER TO ZACHARY ON THURSDAY. WE ONLY DELIVER TO ADDIS AND BRUSLY ON SATURDAY.
How do I access your food if I'm not in your service area?
If you are not in your home delivery service area, don't worry...we've got you covered with our grocery pickup locations at Brew HaHa and Red Stick Spice Company on Jefferson in Baton Rouge, at Spotter's in Addis, and at Sunset Smoothie and Sports Nutrition in Prairieville (all pickups are free!). Your grocery order is delivered in insulated tote bags and ready for you to pickup at your convenience, at the pickup location that you select.
What days are the free grocery pickups available?
The schedule for the Free grocery pickups are as follows:
Brew HaHa: Saturday (1 pm-4 pm), Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (3 pm-5 pm)
Red Stick Spice: Wednesday 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Spotters: Wednesday 4 pm - 7 pm
Sunset Smoothie: Tuesday 4 pm - 6 pm
My zip code does not fall in your service area. How do I go about entering delivery information in your popup?
If we do not service your area right now, don't worry. Just enter the delivery address and zip code of one of our pickup locations to proceed with your shopping and checkout. Here are the addresses for each of our pickup locations:

Do I need to be home to receive delivery?
NO, you don't have to be at home to accept delivery - just leave an ice chest out and our delivery drivers will carefully place your groceries there for you to enjoy when you get back.
Is there a minimum amount that I need to order?
No. You can order as much or as little as you desire. We'll deliver whatever you order fresh to your doorstep!
Is there a delivery charge?
No! We currently do not charge any delivery fee.
What days do you deliver. What are the order deadlines?
We currently deliver on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The order deadline is 9 pm the day before you want to receive delivery. So, for a Tuesday delivery, you must order by 9 pm on Monday.
How do you transport, handle and store food?
Our food is picked fresh to order! All food in transit is handled with care, at the recommended temperature in insulated tote bags. All food at our sorting and distribution center is store in fridges and freezers at recommended storage temperatures and humidity. Wherever possible, we rinse all produce and hand-select each individual item before bagging your groceries.
How do you deliver my grocery order?
All groceries are bagged individually with great care for temperature and quality maintenance. Your grocery bags are stored in indivdual tote bags that help maintain the temperature of your groceries during transportation to your doorstep.
Is there a freshness guarantee?
We pride ourselves on providing high quality, local food to our customers - if you are not thrilled with your order, we will go out of our way to make it right, or you will get your money back...no questions asked.
What if my plans change and I forgot to leave an ice chest out for delivery?
No worries. We will leave one of our insulated tote bags with ice packs at your door and collect our bag with your next order.

How do I use my rewards points?
For every dollar you spend, you earn 1 reward point that can be used a discount for your orders! To use your points, you'll need a minimum of 1000 points ($10). Once you've reached 1000, our system will automatically ask you at checkout if you'd like to apply your rewards points to your order.
